Christo Roux is a Senior Managing Director within the Corporate Finance practice and leads the South Africa Business Transformation service at FTI Consulting.

Christo Roux is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Christo is a member of the Corporate Finance practice and is based in Cape town.

Christo leads FTI Consulting’s Business Transformation Services for Africa and has industry expertise in oil and gas and fast-moving consumer goods (“FMCG”). He has more than 15 years of experience in providing business turnaround, operational improvements and efficiency services to both public and private sector clients.

Christo started his career at Big Four audit and advisory firm KPMG, where he held the position of regional lead partner of the Management Consulting business unit. He also led the firm’s oil and gas industry cross-functional team. After KPMG, Christo joined EY, where he was in charge of the regional advisory services business unit and the Sub-Saharan oil and gas teams. 

Christo holds a B.Acc. in Accountancy with Honors from the University of Stellenbosch, a M.Acc. in Accountancy with a focus on taxation from the University of Stellenbosch and a Diploma in Foundations in Oil and Gas from the IBC Academy.

Christo is a Chartered Accountant (“CA”) and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (“SAICA”), as well as a Certified Supply Chain Professional (“CSCP”).
