Tris Puri, Senior Associate, Francophone Africa Lead, S-RM

Tris has over 7 years' experience as a strategic advisor and due diligence consultant, with a particular focus on Francophone West and Central Africa. He has advised clients across numerous sectors - including extractives, financial services, real estate, healthcare and agriculture - on the risks and opportunities within the African investment landscape, and has conducted countless complex due diligence investigations ahead of high-profile transactions on the continent. His extensive travels in the region have afforded him a first-hand perspective of commercial and political trends, and allowed his clients to make informed decisions in complex environments.

Within the DRC, Tris has worked with major international foundations to build their relationships with key government decision makers. This work was key in supporting the launch of various high-profile initiatives in the health and agriculture sectors. Tris has also led on many of S-RM's projects in the DRC, supporting clients investing in the mining, finance and energy sectors, among others. He holds a Bachelor's in French and German from Oxford University, and a Master's in War Studies from King's College, London.
