Sophie Burnett, Consult Business Development Associate, Invest Africa

Sophie joined the Invest Africa team in October 2024 as a Consult Business Development Associate. In her role, she supports the strategic growth of Invest Africa's Consult division, focusing on expanding client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Sophie is passionate about sustainable development and the role of investment in driving inclusive growth across Africa.

Sophie holds a BSc in Philosophy and Sociology and an MSc in International Development from the University of Bristol, where her research explored the intersections of state agency and the geopolitics of the global energy transition.
