Claudine Fry, Partner, Control Risks
Claudine leads the Global Issues team at Control Risks, a group of senior analysts and experts in global risk, including geopolitics, regulatory risk, maritime security and terrorism. The team delivers impactful and business-relevant forecasting and analysis, along with innovative consulting solutions. While the Global Issues team delivers both tactical and strategic services, Claudine specialises in risks to an organisation’s overall growth and resilience long-term. She helps organisations manage these strategic risks effectively, and to identify and monitor them on a continuing basis. Claudine also hosts Control Risks’ Global Insight podcast.

Claudine joined Control Risks in 2008 as an expert on South Asia with focussing on Afghanistan and Pakistan. Prior to joining Control Risks, Claudine worked as an analyst at Oxford Analytica and as an editor and researcher at BBC Monitoring for publications available to UK government departments, the BBC and a number of commercial databases. She has also worked at the Future Events News Service, and at the Institute for War and Peace Reporting. Claudine holds a BA in War Studies and History from King’s College London.
