Kevin Teeroovengadum, Co-Founder, PropTech Africa

I'm an experienced Board Member in Africa’s real estate, hospitality, financial services and telecoms sectors. Born in Mauritius, I'm passionate about the economic opportunities that Africa presents.

With over 19 years’ experience, I have spearheaded deal-making all these sectors across Africa. I have further played a pivotal role in structuring several key trade, M&A and project finance agreements on the continent. I've also been a regular speaker at major African real-estate and hospitality conferences, and am a co-founder and board member of Proptech Africa.

Proptech Africa is a non-profit association and platform that connects the proptech ecosystem in Africa in order to create meaningful interactions and relationships.

Prominent board positions that I have occupied include being Chair Of The Board Of Directors of Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa in Mauritius, Independent Non-Executive Director of Semaris Property Development as well as a board member of NanoBNK. I studied at the University of Leicester where I qualified with an MSc in Finance as well as an MBA.
