H.E. Adrien Bokele Djema, Minister of Fisheries and Livestock, Democratic Republic of the Congo

H.E. Adrien Bokele Djema was born in Dekese in the province of Kasaï in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In his early years, he joined the faculty of political economy at the University of Kisangani (UNIKIS) with a view to a political career. He was subsequently an advisor to the general director of SOZIR, the late René Issekenanga Ikeka. In later years he was elected national deputy for the Dekese territory in the Kasaï Province and was appointed Minister of Fisheries and Livestock in April 2021.
