Chiedza Madzima, Head of Global Operational Risk Research, BMI, A Fitch Solutions Company

Chiedza Madzima is the Global Head of Operational Risk Research and leads the South Africa Research team at BMI (a Fitch Solutions company). Her areas  of specialisation are in business environment analysis, policy risk and macro analysis focussing on Emerging Markets. Chiedza joined the Fitch Solutions team in 2015, having previously attained experience in risk and supply chain management in the Southern Africa region. Chiedza holds two degrees: BSc degree with a double major in Actuarial Mathematics and Financial Engineering as well as a BCom degree with a double major in Business Management and Statistics; both from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.  She has featured in various regional and global news publications, including Bloomberg, Quartz, BusinessDay, News24 and Africa Business Magazine.
