Thithi Maseko, Head of Office and Coverage Director, South Africa, British International Investment

Thithi Kuhlase-Maseko joined British International Investment as Head of Office and Coverage Director, South Africa in November 2021.

Thithi leads British International Investment’s Johannesburg office and drives our coverage activities in South Africa. This includes investment-related activities such as deal origination, execution and portfolio management support, as well as stakeholder management activities with HMG, government, regulators and media in South Africa.

Previously, Thithi worked for the Eastern and Southern Africa Trade and Development Bank (TDB) as Principal Coverage Officer for the Southern Africa Region. Prior to that, she held various business development roles in development finance institutions including Ithala Development Finance Corporation, Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), MIGA and the IFC.

Thithi has worked broadly across her home country of South Africa as well as in Tanzania and Zimbabwe. She has a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Swaziland and an MBA from Lincoln University in Missouri, USA.
