Roux-ché Locke is a renowned Namibian media personality who started her career as a news anchor and radio presenter at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) in 1997 and has since become a household name to many Namibians. Locke - a Journalism and Communication Technology graduate from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) – is a member of the Group Executive of Namibia’s largest privately-owned group of companies, the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group, leading its Corporate Relations Department. She has successfully completed the GAP International 2019 Leveraging Genius Conference – a first for the African continent. Locke is well-known for her eloquence and expertise when playing the role as Hostess/MC, evident in the number of high-profile national and international events she has hosted with existing and prospective clients securing her professional services. A seasoned media personality with a rich track-record of more than 20 years’ experience, Locke uses her voice to lead conversation as change agent to make a difference - whether it is about education and gender equality; helping survivors of domestic abuse and violence speak out; addressing poverty, and/or advancing the agenda of inspiring and consistent leadership, Locke advocates for all “to create a space where you appreciate the value of your role in being the main character of your life”.
