In this role, he lead the design and implementation of Afreximbank’s client-focused business strategies, including managing the delivery of all Bank products to the clientele and managing the operation of Afreximbank branch offices.
Highly experienced and successful senior executive management career of over 30 years in corporate and investment banking across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, providing strategic direction and leadership to international development finance institutions and commercial banks.
Proven ability to translate strategic concepts into tangible results, which ensure corporate success with over US$8 billion of revenues and US$300 billion in transactions across diverse sectors including energy, infrastructure, commodities and financial services.
Specialist in structured trade, corporate, commercial and investment banking, with extensive experience in origination (client relationships, sales, marketing, customer service), product management, cross-border trade flows, trade finance, credit risk management, compliance, treasury, project finance and general management across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.
