Rachel Alisha Otwiwa Antwi, Group Head of Sustaiability, Ecobank

Rachael is an environmental and sustainable finance expert and holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom (UK) and the School of Geography and the Environment. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Corporate Law from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

She has over 12 years of experience of which 10 years were spent in the financial sector in SA and sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) from Absa Capital (formerly Barclays Africa Group) and Standard Bank Investment Banking, where she assumed many roles. She also has experience in financial markets regulations and has worked in both London and Johannesburg.

She is currently the Group head of Sustainability at Ecobank. She is also an expert reviewer for the UNFCC Climate Change Reports and IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6).
