Oludamilare Adesola, Associate Director, Control Risks

Oludamilare is an economist with extensive experience in research & analysis, project management, and strategic advisory. She has advised development organizations and corporates on how to navigate the African Continent, minimize risks and leverage the opportunities for the greatest impact and returns. Oludamilare leads our Global Risk Analysis and Business Intelligence practices in West Africa and works to expand the Control Risks’ profile and business opportunities within the region. 

Recent tasks that Oludamilare has worked on include:

  1. A market assessment report and stakeholder engagement strategy to support the expansion of an energy organisation’s footprints in West Africa.   

  2. An agriculture policy landscape assessment, and an accompanying tool that incorporates qualitative and quantitative data in order to create a logical basis for cross-country comparisons in sub-Saharan Africa.

  3. An impact assessment report based on survey data, that isolated and quantified the effect of a technology giant’s operations in South Africa.  

Prior to joining Control Risks, Oludamilare experience includes work at a consulting firm, a data firm, and an economic research firm where she specialized in policy and regulatory advisory, sector mapping and corporate data research, and was a frequent correspondent on national television. Oludamilare is a holds a BA in Economics and Politics from Lancaster University.
