Liza Eustace, Director, Investment Banking, Absa

Liza is a Business Development Director in the Investment Banking Division, based in Johannesburg. Her financial services experience spans over 24 years having worked in a number of Corporate and Investment banking roles in both South Africa and Internationally. Her experience spans across multiple areas within the Corporate and Investment Bank, including Credit Risk (both for financial institutions and corporates), Global Markets, Global Finance & Investment Banking and in Coverage. She joined Absa in March 2009 after having spent over 8 years working in London for Standard Bank and Bear Stearns. In her role at Absa, Liza has focused primarily on origination within the Healthcare sector and headed up the Healthcare, Construction and Hospitality sectors at Absa for many years. She is currently now in the Investment Banking business development team responsible for origination in this specialized product set across multiple sectors and across the African continent.
