George Odo, Senior Partner & Managing Director, East & Southern Africa, AfricInvest

Mr George Odo is a Senior Partner at AfricInvest, and the Managing Director for East & Southern Africa. George is a member of the group’s Executive committee.

At AfricInvest he has led transactions in various sectors across East & Southern Africa including in Banking, Insurance, Education, Pharmaceutical and FMCG among others.

George holds a joint executive MBA from USIU Kenya & Columbia USA, a B Comm from Rani Durgavatti, India and is an accredited partnership broker (PBAS) from the UK, trained as an accountant (CPA) in Kenya, and has further completed several courses as part of his continuous training in Audit, ESG, HR, IT, PE, Governance, etc

Prior to joining AfricInvest, George was the Regional Director for East & Southern Africa with CARE International responsible for its MFI and MSME investments and commercializing smallholder activities.

George has served on several boards across several sectors including – agri business, banking, insurance, education, health, FMCG and Not for profits.
