Geoffrey White, CEO, Agility Africa

Geoffrey White, CEO of Agility Africa, has thirty years experience of infrastructure development, retail supply chains, agri-business, and investment for African markets. Agility is a USD 7.5 Billion company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, and is the leading developer of warehouse parks in the MEA region, with a site portfolio of over 12 million m2 .

Agility Africa is funding, developing and managing a network of Warehouse Parks across Africa to provide international standard infrastructure to support both multinational corporations and the growth of SME’s in Africa. Agility warehouse parks can be leased for storage, distribution, packaging, processing and light manufacturing, helping to grow the development of African trade regionally and globally.

Open in Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire and Mozambique with Nigeria under construction, Agility is now targeting Egypt, Morocco, Tanzania, DRC, Kenya and Ethiopia for further expansion of the network. Mr. White joined Agility as CEO for Africa in 2014, previously serving as CEO of the London Stock Exchange main market listed Lonrho Plc for 8 years, where he developed product supply chains from Africa to some of the world’s largest retailers including Walmart, Costco, Sams Club, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Spinneys, Carrefour and others. Lonrho also developed essential infrastructure and logistics facilities for Africa’s burgeoning oil and gas industry.

Mr. White’s career path has included working with Thomas Tilling Plc, BTR Plc, Asda Plc, Hilton, Ford PAG, and a leading Middle Eastern private investment office. He is a World Economic Forum African Regional Business Council Champion and sits on the IAB of GardaWorld and of Fidelity Bank.
