Duncan Keil, Chief Executive Officer, ICAP Africa Direct

Holds BA, European Studies, European Law and Economics from the University College of Wales. After graduating from university and The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst (UK), Duncan served with the British Army as a reconnaissance officer, attaining the rank of Captain. He then worked in financial risk management, financial derivatives and investment fund management. Duncan has since worked extensively in Africa and lived in South Africa for several years. He has a good understanding of the opportunities and the risk of the African markets and the intricacies of financial structuring in this environment. He is passionate about the environment, building value and having a positive social impact.
