Dr. Egbe Osifo-Dawodu, Non-Executive Director, MedAccess | Founding Partner, Anadach Group

Dr Egbe Osifo-Dawodu is a founding Partner of the Anadach Group where she leads the advisory work with global pharmaceutical companies, private equity funds, banks, and DFIs. She also sits on the board of MedAccess UK, which provides innovative finance for affordable and accessible healthcare in low and middle-income countries.

Dr Osifo-Dawodu was previously an Adviser at the Innovation Practice at the World Bank Institute. Prior to this, she managed the Human Development Group at the World Bank Institute where she was responsible for the World Bank's capacity building programs in health, education and social protection. She has over 30 years of experience in healthcare policy, provision and financing in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the US. She is a qualified medical doctor and a member of the UK Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). She holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, an MSc from Oxford University and an MBBS from the University of Ibadan. She has authored several articles, contributed to books and was a lead author of two books. She recently co-authored a chapter on “Boards and Governance” in Global Healthcare Manager: Competencies, Concepts, and Skills. She was also on the advisory boards of Sproxil which focuses on innovative applications of its Mobile Phone Authentication technology, and the Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media.
