Dontatien Depuydt

Head of Business, West Africa | Loinette Capital

Donatien graduated in Quantitative Finance at the Solvay Brussels School of Business

and Economics. He followed then a post-master graduation in European Economics

Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.

After a first experience in banking regulation, Donatien joined Credendo-ECA, the

Belgian Export Credit Agency, as underwriter. A developed a passion for financing

international complex infrastructure projects, especially in Africa. He then joined a

Private Equity Holding with investments in Africa. Donatien oversaw the treasury and

financings for the heavy-duty equipment distribution company active in West Africa,

including trade financing to the benefit of end-users.

He joined in 2023 to develop Loinette Capital’s footprint in West Africa. Donatien bases

Loinette Capital West Africa development strategy on intimate knowledge and mutual

trust with equipment dealers, local contractors.
