Diana Njuguna, Africa Investment Advisor, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)

Diana is an Africa Investment Advisor to the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), responsible for Southern Africa.

She is a senior investment professional with over 12 years’ experience in private equity, mezzanine debt, senior debt and asset management. She is passionate about investments in Sub-Saharan Africa and has a deep knowledge of debt and equity instruments. She has been involved in all aspects of the investment process including deal origination, assessment, structuring, execution, post-transaction monitoring, exits, as well as fundraising.

She is a 2010 Rhodes Scholar with an MBA and MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Accountancy & Finance from Birmingham City University. She is also a CFA® charterholder and an ACCA fellow.
