Christo Roux, Senior Managing Director, FTI Consulting

Christo Roux is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice and is based in Cape town.

Christo leads FTI Consulting’s Business Transformation Services for Africa and has industry expertise in Oil & Gas and FMCG. He has more than 15 years of experience in providing business turnaround; operational improvements and efficiency services to both public and private sector clients.

Christo started his career at big 4 audit and advisory firm KPMG, where he held the position of regional lead partner of the Management Consulting business unit. He also led the firms Oil & Gas Industry cross functional team. Subsequent to KPMG, he joined EY, where he was in charge partner of the regional Advisory services business unit and the Sub-Sahara Oil & Gas teams.

Christo holds the following degrees: a Baccalaureus degree in accountancy from The University of Stellenbosch; a Baccalaureus degree in accountancy (Honors) from the University of Stellenbosch; a Masters degree in accountancy with major in taxation from the University of Stellenbosch and a Diploma in Foundations in Oil & Gas from the IBC Academy.

Christo is a chartered accountant (CA(SA)) and a member of SAICA; he is also a certified supply chain professional (CSCP).
