Brenda Mbathi, Chief Executive Officer, TRIFIC SEZ
Brenda Mbathi is a dynamic executive with extensive experience across diverse sectors in Africa. Currently serving as the CEO of Two Rivers International Finance and Innovation Centre SEZ (TRIFIC SEZ), Brenda leads the establishment of Kenya's first privately owned bespoke-to business services Special Economic Zone (SEZ). TRIFIC SEZ aims to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Kenya and empower businesses to access global markets competitively. Brenda is the Vice Chairperson of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), where she plays a pivotal role in driving initiatives to strengthen Kenya's private sector. In some of her previous roles, Brenda has led impactful efforts in fostering inclusive cultures within organizations, contributing to enhanced innovation and engagement. Her leadership extends to serving on prestigious boards and committees, including previous roles on President Biden’s Advisory Committee on Doing Business in Africa and the American Chamber of Commerce in Kenya. She is currently a governor of the MPESA Foundation Academy. Brenda's collaborative approach and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving growth and fostering a dynamic team dynamic.
