Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) - 2014
8th – 9th February 2014
Purpose of the trip
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is strategically located in Central Africa, bordering 9 neighbouring countries. It represents a fantastic hub to serve Central Africa’s 250m consumers. One of Invest Africa’s strategic partners on the ground is Hamid Assi, the founder of MinoCongo Group. His company supplies DRC with over 4 million bread baguettes a day! His story is a blue print for how to build a successful business in Africa. We brought a strong delegation to DRC to explore investment opportunities and give attendees exposure to the realities on the ground.
