The Nordic-African Business Summit 2023 will take place at the Grand Hotel in Oslo on September 5th this year.

This is the 12th installment of the Summit, which has established itself as the Nordic region’s leading Africa-focused business platform, bringing together over 4,000 participants and 400 speakers since its inaugural edition over a decade ago.

This year’s theme is a World In Flux, recognizing the increasingly complex dynamics of a rapidly changing global economic landscape and heightened geopolitical tensions. It will convene 250 decision-makers in business and policy from across Africa, and internationally, for actionable dialogue about how the continent can position itself to drive economic growth and development, while positioning itself as an important actor in driving solutions to global challenges in key areas such as trade, climate change, and the energy transition.

While growing global economic uncertainty presents significant challenges for African economies - from tighter fiscal conditions and rising debt, to growing geopolitical competition for influence on the continent - the Summit’s focus is on honest, but constructive dialogue, about how such downside can effectively be navigated, and ultimately be leveraged to drive opportunities for growth and economic development.
